It's near the end of December and your listing for sale agreement is coming due and now you have to decide what to do with your home listing. Don't be discouraged though. Let's look at the options.

The reasons that you put your home up for sale probably haven't changed. Revisit those reasons. Remember, just because your home hasn't sold yet, doesn't mean it won't sell. Consider carefully the next few options.

2. Re-list with the same agent.

Maybe the listing price was too high. Maybe, the agent's advice was not listened to. On the other hand, perhaps you noticed that the agent's performance was not up to your agreed upon expectations. It's okay to give an agent a second chance if there are reasonable performance or communication improvements that will be made. Yet, the following options are worth considering too.
